What can I expect from my lesson?

If you're completely new to shooting, our Have-A-Go lesson is the perfect way to start. Your instructor will guide you through everything you need to know, from essential safety tips to the thrill of breaking your first clays!

• Non-members: £60 p/p
• Members: £50 p/p

When booking, please specify the number of people attending. Max group size: 5

For group bookings, multiply the individual price by the number of people attending.

Ideal for

Lesson details

• 25 clays and cartridges included
• Suitable for anyone 9+ years
• No shotgun certificate required
• Duration: One Hour (includes an introduction to the sport and safety briefing)

Good to know

The shooting ground requires that, when attending your lesson or experience, you bring a peaked hat, such as a baseball cap or flat cap, for protection. 

If you don’t have one with you, E.J. Churchill-branded baseball caps are available to purchase on the day for £10. Ear and eye protection will be provided.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, and you’re welcome to bring your own shotgun if you would prefer to use it.

On arrival, each attendee will need to complete a Section 21 declaration. This is a legal requirement confirming that you are not prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under the Firearms Act 1968. Please allow a little extra time before your booking to complete this form.
