Alnwick
Quarry: Pheasant. Level: Expert
Alnwick Castle, one of the largest inhabited castles in the country, sits within the splendour of Hulne Park. Shooting here feels as memorable as the setting itself.
Drives range from birds rising near the 13th-century Hulne Monastery to high pheasants driven off the surrounding hills. Partridge and pheasant combine to offer thrilling sport on every visit.

Brimpsfield Park Estate is a 2,000-acre Cotswolds shoot, widely regarded as one of the finest driven pheasant and partridge estates in the region.
Rolling arable farmland is broken by steep, wooded valleys that produce towering pheasants and excellent partridge. With 27 named drives, the shoot adapts easily to conditions on the day.
The variety of ground ensures rewarding sport for guns of different experience levels, creating a memorable day for every team.

Set within 1,700 acres of the Churnet Valley, Consall Valley Estate combines outstanding shooting with exceptional hospitality.

The 13,500-acre estate centres on its stately home and offers more than 50 drives across ravines and wooded valleys, producing thrilling high birds.

Intermediate - Expert
On the edge of Exmoor National Park, North Molton Estate is one of the South West’s most highly regarded shoots.
Spanning 15,000 acres and more than 40 drives, the estate offers varied sport across the season. Early partridge days give way to exceptional pheasant shooting on well-known drives including Baracliff, The Larches and Cow Lane.
Hospitality is a highlight, with relaxed outdoor lunches served when conditions allow, and a warm welcome in the shoot room on cooler days.

The Swinton Estate
Quarry: Pheasant, Partridge, Grouse, Duck. Level: Expert
The Swinton Estate near Masham is one of the largest and most diverse sporting estates in the UK, stretching over 20,000 acres from the River Ure to the high heather moorland above.
Its varied terrain creates exciting, challenging birds across all quarry types. Driven days are typically for teams of nine guns and consistently rank among the finest in the country.
Buckinghamshire
West Wycombe Estate
Quarry: Pheasant and Partridge. Level: Novice to Experienced
West Wycombe Estate is widely regarded as one of the finest shoots in the country and regularly appears in The Field’s Top Shoots.
Covering 5,000 acres of rolling hills, hanging beech woods and carefully managed cover, it delivers classic English driven game at its best.
Managed by Sir Edward Dashwood, days typically run between 250 and 500 birds for teams of seven to nine guns, with the option of double guns.
