Partridge
Partridge are fast, agile gamebirds, recognised by their orange face and chestnut tail. Driven over hedges, they appear suddenly at speed, creating exciting, instinctive shooting. They usually fly in coveys of six to fifteen outside the breeding season.
Pheasant
The pheasant sits at the heart of British shooting. Introduced by the Romans and now firmly established, it is prized for its testing flight. A high curling pheasant offers a demanding and rewarding challenge for experienced Guns.

Grouse
Driven grouse shooting is often described as the sport of kings and remains one of the most exclusive forms of wing shooting. Grouse are entirely wild birds, with numbers varying each season. The season runs from 12 August, known as the Glorious Twelfth, through to 10 December.
