FRONT OF HOUSE / RECEPTION (HIGH WYCOMBE)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking, positive, and proactive individual to join our team and serve as the face of E.J. Churchill, an award-winning clay shooting ground.

 

This role involves working in a busy and varied reception area. The ideal candidate will be a team player, capable of working well under pressure, and will enjoy interacting with people in a client-facing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering inquiries via telephone and email

  • Booking lessons and tuition

  • Organizing all CPSA competitions

  • Assisting with events and competitions

  • Booking external staff

  • Supporting late-night shooting (Summer only)

  • Driving membership sales

  • Managing food and beverage orders

  • Cashing up tills

  • Processing vouchers

  • Invoicing and payment processing

  • Maintaining a clean and presentable reception and bar area

  • Ensuring bar snacks, drinks, and food are ordered in a timely manner

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Previous experience (1 year) in a front-of-house or reception role preferred

Job Type

  • Permanent / Part-time

 

Salary

  • £22,000.00 - £25,000.00 per year (salary pro-rata for any part-time role)

Schedule

Full-time

  • Monday to Saturday, with Tuesdays and Sundays off

  • 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

  • Saturdays are a required working day

Part-time

  • 4-day working week and part-time hours also available, subject to discussion

 

Licence/Certifications

  • Driving Licence (required)
